About Us

The Scottish International Tuba Festival is a four day festival which includes the course, a play day, and a collection of events and performances held at St Mary's Music School and the Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh.

The purpose of the festival is to engage with the wider tuba community, promote the tuba through unique performances and venues, help educate aspiring tuba players on new ways of thinking about their craft, and connect players from different backgrounds who will help each other learn.

There are many ways to be a tuba player, be it pursuing a career, or doing it just for the love of playing the tuba. Come join us by applying to be a participant or spectator, coming to our SITF Play Day, or by enjoying one of our concerts.
